Professor Milton Friedman (1912–2006) stands as one of the most influential economists of the late twentieth century and was a staunch advocate for personal liberties and freedoms.
Arguing that laissez-faire economics was more desirable than government intervention, Professor Friedman could these days be considered a ‘hard-right extremist’.
In reality his theories were merely prudent, conservative and sensible – always presented with a likeable, respectful and all-inclusive demeanour.
